"Slide", est un morceau pour lequel on a cliqué sur le bouton "approuver" en seulement quelques secondes. Lorsqu'on a entendu la voix incroyable de Simon Alexander, on a pas hésité. Le piano s'installe ensuite pour nous envelopper dans un cocon très agréable. Puis les harmonies vocales et le rythme donnent au morceau toute sa dimension. L'écriture est très soignée, la mélodie aussi. On apprécie chaque seconde. A partir de 2:18, on a l'impression d'écouter du Coldplay, tellement la production est puissante en émotions. Venu de Suède, Simon Alexander se dit influencé aussi bien par des légendes comme Jeff Buckley et Neil Young, que par de talentueux auteurs récents, comme Hozier ou Matt Corby. Tout en ayant su créer son propre univers, Simon nous délivre dans "Slide" une intéressante pointe d'émotion, qui bien sûr, ne peut que nous ravir. "Slide ", is a track for which we clicked on the "approve" button" in just a few seconds. When we heard the incredible voice of Simon Alexander, we did not hesitate. Then the piano comes to wrap us in a very pleasant cocoon, as the vocal harmonies and the rhythm give the track its full dimension. The writing is very neat, the melody too. We enjoy every second. From 2:18, we have the impression to listen to Coldplay, because the production is powerful in emotions. From Sweden, Simon Alexander says he is influenced by legends like Jeff Buckley and Neil Young as well as talented recent songwriters like Hozier and Matt Corby. As he succeeded to create his own universe, Simon delivers in "Slide" an interesting touch of emotion, which of course, can only delight us.
